I have a desktop running Windows Vista Ultimate w/SP1 already installed. Windows Software update keeps telling me to install SP2. I have tried to install SP2 about 8 times now. It takes almost 16-20 hours to install the pack. It installs; runs for a while and then a message comes up that SP2 failed to install and it then uninstalls SP2 (which takes another 8+ hours). I have tried to uninstall anything that might be running in parallel (e.g. Webshots; Spybot, etc.).

The only things running in the system tray are Win sw update, Bluetooth Devices, Intel Viiv sw, volume panel, speaker, LAN connection; safe hw removal and McAfee. Any suggestions?
